From Customers (Austradies.com)

  • Profile information including your profile photo, business description, service areas, and availability.
  • Communications with Customers and with us via the platform’s messaging system.

From All Users

  • Technical information such as your IP address, browser type and version, device information, and operating system.
  • Usage data including pages visited, time spent on pages, links clicked, and other diagnostic data.
  • Cookies and similar tracking data (see Section 7 below).

  • To Comply with Legal Obligations: To meet our obligations under applicable laws and regulations.

4. Disclosure of Your Personal Information

  • Between Customers and Workers: When you post a job or submit a quote, relevant information (such as your name, contact details, and job specifics) is shared with the other party to facilitate the service.
  • Third-Party Service Providers: We may share information with trusted third parties who help us operate the platform, such as hosting providers, email services, and analytics tools. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and are only permitted to use your data as necessary to provide their services to us.

  • Transaction and payment records: Retained for 7 years as required by Australian taxation law.
  • Technical logs and usage data: Retained for up to 12 months, then aggregated or deleted.
  • Unconfirmed accounts: Automatically deleted after 3 days if email is not verified.

After the applicable retention period, personal information is securely destroyed or de-identified. You may request early deletion of your account data by contacting us, subject to our legal retention obligations.
